Description: Senior Electrical Engineer: Primary job function involves cutting edge R&D activities in the Semiconductor Equipment Industry. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Design, integrate, test, document, and characterize complex electrical systems and sub-systems beginning with specifications to manufacturing release. Conduct concept and feasibility studies critical to defining the direction of new and next generation products. Directs support personnel and work closely with suppliers in the preparation of detailed design, prototype fabrication, design testing / verification, and managing the transition from prototype to production release. KNOWLEDGE: Extensive experience and involvement in all stages of product life cycle of semiconductor equipments from C&F to new product introduction to CIP. Experienced in designing AC/DC electrical power distribution systems such as Main Power Drop and Local Power Box and equipment controls. Knowledgeable in real-time device I/O control systems, analog/digital communications systems. Extensive troubleshooting experience in highly complex semiconductor processing equipment from system to component level. Have thorough knowledge in industry design and safety standards such as UL508, UL1950, NFPA 70/79, Semi S2-93, Semi F47, and CE Mark. SUPERVISION: Capable of working positively within a highly focused group and/or independently on large and small projects requiring limited input and direction.
